In a medium saucepan, heat 6 cups cranberry juice and 1 cup water over medium-high heat; Tie spices in cheesecloth or place in a gauze bag, and add to the pan. Bring to boil. Simmer for 1 hour. Sweeten to taste. Serve in a mug and top with an orange slice.
